The Sweet William Band is a blend of talent with very different roots which adds and creates body and depth in original music.
Sweet William, Billy Ennis, 35 years in Palatka is a singer-songwriter with a deep resonate voice and finger picks his stories and songs.
(As a duo, I play with) Lori Baxter, born a South Florida hippie-chick who moved to Georgetown, adds a folk style bass guitar and sweet vocal accompaniment.
From Hastings (as a trio I play with) Joe Murray’s, experience in playing rock percussion gives the trio a distinction that blends our folk, blues and rock originals.
On occasion joined by Beverly Wolfe on flute & mandolin, Bob Bociek/congas and Bruce Florence/sax.
Sweet William is the North Central Florida Blues Society 2018 solo winner, 2019 Santa Fe River Song Contest Best in Folk and the 2021 Suwannee River Song Contest over All First Place winner, you’ll hear down home songs of Florida!
